As the Prime Contractor, AGCO was responsible for obtaining the Design Build Agreement (DBA), submitting designs and specifications, badging and building the project, supervising quality control, and bringing the project to a successful conclusion.
It is within the purview of AGCO to remove two inches of the old asphalt on the apron and replace it with fresh new asphalt. This project will cover a total area of about 95,000 square meters while maintaining the grade and slope that is already in place. AGCO was responsible for repainting all of the lane markers, as well as the region descriptors (such as "C" and "D"), and the helipad numbering system.
Because of the one-of-a-kind asphalt mix design that was necessary for this project, AGCO was able to successfully complete the project on November 24, 2021, much to the satisfaction of its customers.
